Create a font from your handwriting

Your fonts templateThere are some easy to use online font generators which can be used to create your own personalised font. I've used a few and found YourFont to be one of the better sites. The first thing to do is to print off the template available from their site, the PDF template gives the best results.

Using a black permanent pen, draw each character into the block, making sure you draw each character into the designated cell.

Once all the characters have been drawn into the template, scan the completed template at 300 dpi or above. Save the scanned image file in one of the many supported formats .jpg, .png or .tiff.

Upload the image file to their website and within minutes you'll have a funky new font you can use on either PC or Mac.
